The exhibition has been staged in support of Prince Albert’s Monaco Foundation to raise public awareness in China about the threatened disappearance of a large number of species.
Visitors experience life-sized statues depicting the world’s most loved and endangered animals, all located in their natural habitats, across four distinct zones. A one hundred page book has been written to support the exhibition which will be touring 20 cities in China over the next three years and is expected to attract over 1 million visitors.
All the statues were built by Bright Bricks, BRICKLIVE’s sister company based in Hampshire, England. China is an important market for Bricklive and the scale and ambition of the exhibition reflects a new understanding amongst the public of the need to preserve and protect their environment as China establishes itself as one of the world’s foremost economies.
