David read law at Kings College London and was called to the Bar (Barrister) as a Blackstone Exhibitor before joining the merchant bank Guinness, Mahon & Co.
He was one of the four original shareholders of Europe’s first satellite television station, Satellite Television plc (‘SATV’), which was renamed SKY following the sale in 1983 of 65% of SATV to Rupert Murdoch’s News Corporation. David remained with Sky as Deputy Managing Director until the end of 1986 when he left to found the original Parallel Media Group (‘PMG’).
While at Sky Channel, as well as the day to day running of the television station, David Ciclitira was responsible for establishing Sky’s own production company and for setting up of the first VPL and Pan-European PRS agreements, as well as the conception of, and early involvement in, the setting up of Eurosport. During this time David also established the first ever World Music Video Awards.
In 1987, David founded Parallel Media Group plc (PMG). In 1998, under David’s guidance PMG entered into a joint venture with NBC for the formation of CNBC Sports International Limited, the international sports broadcasting arm of NBC which was broadcast on its CNBC Europe and CNBC Asia platforms. PMG successfully sold its shareholding in CNBC Sports to NBC in 2004.
David Ciclitira is established as one of the major forces in, and respected member of, the global sports marketing industry. Through his strong personal relationships with the commissioners of various sporting federations, proven marketing skills with sponsors and wide-ranging contacts within the broadcasting world, David has revolutionised the sports marketing strategies of some of the world’s leading Federations.
David has also overseen the marketing strategies for some of the world’s leading brands including managing Pepsi’s UK music sponsorship strategy, representing Heineken as its global sponsorship agency (creating the pan-European Buckler Basketball Challenge and overseeing their activities in golf, as well as overseeing their sponsorship of the Whitbread Round the World Yacht Race), acting as Omega’s sponsorship agency of note, negotiating UBS’s title sponsorship of the Hong Kong Open, creating a sports tourism strategy for South Africa at the end of apartheid and launching the Ballantines Championship in Korea for Pernod Ricard.
In May 2016, David invested in Brick Live Group Limited and is now its Chairman and its majority shareholder. BRICKLIVE ‘Built for LEGO Fans’ is a interactive LEGO-based fan event that is currently staged in over 20 cities worldwide.
As a passionate art collector, David founded the Eye Programme in 2009. The programme aims to develop arts infrastructure in Asian territories where this is lacking, in order to provide artists with the platforms, support and recognition they need to develop their careers. Projects include Korean Eye (2009 to 2012), Indonesian Eye (2011), Hong Kong Eye (2013), Malaysian Eye (2014), Singapore Eye (2015), Thailand Eye (2016) and more recently Vietnam Eye (2017). In January 2014 the Eye Programme expanded to launch the annual Eye Awards, honouring the accomplishments of emerging artists throughout great Asia. Added to this START Art Fair at the Saatchi Gallery also launched to huge acclaim in June 2014, to celebrate not only the artists but also emerging art galleries from around the world. The inargaul edition of START Doha in collaboration with The New York Times for the Art for Tomorrow conference was launched 11th -14th March. The fourth edition of START Art Fair took place from 14-17 September 2017.

Andy joined Multiplay in 2015 as Director of The Insomnia Gaming Festival and soon became Event Director running a team of 60 full time staff in the events and esports division. During his time with Multiplay, the annual footfall to the Insomnia event in the UK more than doubled and it now attracts over 150,000 visitors annually. Andy has also been responsible for running a number of well known international events on behalf of companies such as Microsoft, Island records (Universal Music), Nintendo and Mojang, including Minecon, the largest single video game convention in the world.
Prior to joining Multiplay, Andy spent 8 years with the FTSE100 listed Compass Group PLC, where he spearheaded the sales and management of conferences, events, catering, hotels and match day experiences for clients such as the Ricoh Arena, Leicester City FC, Warwickshire County CC and Sheffield United FC.

Before entering the event business in 2009, Betty spent 10 years in Marketing. This unique combination of marketing and event expertise allows her to best manage the entire event process, from concept to promotion to execution. Having worked with world class brands such as LEGO, Cartoon Network, Nintendo, WB Games and The Boy Scouts of America, she understands how to deliver the ultimate live brand experience to the consumer.
Betty is Certified in Event and Exhibition Management by the International Association of Exhibitions and Events and is a proven negotiator with venues and vendors. Betty stays current with industry trends and brings her knowledge and passion to all events to ensure they are as successful as possible.

During his time at these companies Mark grew from junior designer to Art director before becoming Head of Publishing and Editor for one of Bauer Media’s best selling consumer titles.
In 2011 Mark turned his attentions to freelance media consulting, supplying creative advertising and marketing solutions to many well known brands. Mark’s passion has always been media and art with only his love for LEGO® superseding this. In 2014 he began to focus his skills within the LEGO world that saw him become a recognised ambassador for the brand and a well-known and respected member of the global adult fan community. Joining BRICKLIVE Group seems like the perfect combination and is an ideal mix for his media skills and passion for the brick.
ASEAN & USA Account Manager
She also manages BRICKLIVE's content inventory and manages all the necessary edits to the BRICKLIVE licensee partners’ event manuals. Antonia manages BRICKLIVE’s corporate website on a daily basis and assists the Global Compliance officer with adherance to the brand guidelines.
Antonia has a first class honours degree in Art History from the University of Nottingham and a Masters degree in Contemporary Chinese Art from the Courtauld Institute of Art, London.
Sonia represented the New Zealand tourist board in Korea from 1993 to 2006, receiving the Order of Merit from Queen Elizabeth for the help in promoting New Zealand in Korea.
From 1999 to 2007, Sonia was the President of the International Tourism Network in Seou and from 2007 to 2010 was the Secretary General for Visit Korea Committee. Sonia managed relations with a variety of government agencies and created innovative promotions with K-POP and other Korean Wave products, securing supporting sponsorships from Lotte, Asiana Airlines and Korean Airlines.
In 2010, Sonia joined PMG as its Korea President, responsible for numerous partnership and sponsorship relations with major brands including F1, Saatchi Gallery, Ballantine’s and AIA.
Sonia joined BRICKLIVE Group as its Director of Asia in September 2016 and has overseen the inaugrual BRICKLIVE exhibition in Seoul and the first two BRICKLIVE Centers.

Having started writing material for late night commercial radio in London whilst still at school he moved straight into radio production at 18 and ended up producing for some of the UK’s top entertainment names. From there he made the move into satellite television and subsequently into UK broadcast with multiple credits as an editor and producer on ITV and Channel 4. Utilizing the wide range of skills built up over the decades Simeon now produces our inhouse promotions and trailers.
Prior to this Paul worked in a number of operational and business improvement roles for David Lloyd Leisure, Compass Group and Kingswood Learning & Leisure. Paul’s experience across these different sectors has perfectly prepared him for the world of BRICKLIVE.
Paul will lead our commercial activities of sales, sponsorship and marketing whilst maintaining a senior account management role for our European partners.
That role brought valuable epxerience working closely with a variety of international clients and PR agencies. She followed that with two years with the Yahoo! Korea Sales Team before moving to the Hansol Group Strategic Planning Office as the Assistant to the Vice President and then as the Operating CEO for the Hansol Heathcare division.
Sara is based in our Seoul, S. Korea office where she also supports Sonia Hong in
Compliance for Korea and Japan.
Hannah says “It was always going to be art school or drama school for me. I knew this from a young age. It was all I was ever really good at so I don’t really remember making a decision about it - it just kind of fell into place.” She was a finalist in the Portrait Awards of 2016 and has published a book of photographs of her mother entitled “Mary”.
